These terms govern your use of OffMap, operated by Elena Chrysaki, an individual, at Adrianou 26, Keratsini, 18755, Greece. By using OffMap, you agree to them.

What OffMap is

OffMap is a directory of selective, time-bounded student opportunities — programmes with a stated deadline, funding situation, and eligibility, verified by us or an ambassador before publishing. We link you to the official application on the organiser's own site; OffMap does not run or administer these programmes.

Who can use OffMap

• Anyone can browse listings, with or without an account.
• Creating an account requires you to confirm you are 16 years or older. We don't build or offer a parental-consent flow — if you're under 16, please browse without an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

Accounts are free

OffMap is free for students. There is no paid tier and no plan to add one. We do not ask for payment information from students, ever.

Intellectual property

The OffMap name, design, and the compilation and presentation of listings on the site are owned by us. You may not copy, scrape, or republish OffMap's content as your own without permission — see "Acceptable use" below.

Listings we've verified remain the property of, and describe programmes run by, their respective organisers. We don't claim ownership over the underlying opportunities themselves — only our own verified summaries and presentation of them.

If you submit a listing via our submission form, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit, verify, and publish that information on OffMap. You confirm you have the right to share the information you submit, and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge.

What we don't guarantee

• We verify what a listing states, not the outcome. We confirm that funding, eligibility, and deadlines are stated accurately as of our last check (shown as "Verified [date]"). We don't guarantee you'll be accepted, that the programme will run as described, or that the organiser will honour every detail.
• Deadlines and details can change on the organiser's end after we've verified them. Always confirm details on the official application page before relying on them.
• External links. Applying happens on the organiser's own website, which we don't control. Once you leave OffMap to apply, that organisation's own terms and privacy policy apply.

OffMap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

Paid placement

Some listings may appear in a clearly labelled "Paid placement" module, paid for by the organisation. Paid placement never affects the organic ranking or visibility of any other listing, and paid entries never appear in "Closing soon" or "Near you" sections.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract OffMap's listings for republishing elsewhere
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Use OffMap to submit false, misleading, or spam listings
• Interfere with the normal operation of the site

Termination

You can stop using OffMap and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@offmap.gr. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable-use rules above.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OffMap and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, decisions made based on listing information, the actions of third-party organisers, or outcomes of any application made through a link from OffMap. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as OffMap develops. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use OffMap after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest of the terms remain in full effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country of residence under EU law.
